Workshop on: “How to Prepare Moot Court Memorial”

Objective of the Event: The workshop on “How to Prepare Moot Court Memorial” aimed to equip participants with essential skills for drafting effective and persuasive memorials. Moot court competitions provide law students with a platform to hone their advocacy skills, and a well-prepared memorial is crucial for success.
The session was started by guest speaker Vidushi Bhardwaj. She discussed various topics like what is Moot Court, gave information about Moot Court Motions, and very detailed suggestions on “How to prepare Moot Court Memorial” were given. Which, on the cover page of each written presentation of the monument, the following information is given on the main topics: Table of Contents, Index of Authorities, List of Symbols, Statement of Jurisdiction, Statement of Facts/Summary of Facts, Statement of Issues, Summary of Arguments, etc. Explained. He inspired the students to move forward by sharing his personal experience with the Moot Court Society, the organizer of this workshop. During this workshop, speaker Vidushi Bhardwaj posed some questions to the students that often bother them and also strengthened the students' concepts by answering those questions.
It was successfully coordinated by Prof. (Dr.) K.B.Asthana Dean MLS, Dr. Annu Bahl Mehra Dy. Dean MLS.
Overall the workshop underscored the significance of meticulous memorial preparation in moot court competitions. By mastering these skills, participants are better equipped to excel in advocacy and legal writing.
