Objective of the event: The workshop aimed to equip participants, primarily from educational institutions, with knowledge and tools to identify innovative ideas within their institutions, understand the procedure for filing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and explore the significance of trademarks in protecting intellectual assets.
In a dynamic and rapidly evolving world, intellectual property rights (IPR) have become a crucial component for fostering innovation and protecting creative endeavors. In this pursuit of knowledge and awareness, the Research Committee, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the MUIT Noida campus, organized a transformative IPR workshop on 6th October, 2023. The event featured Mr. Dhruv Mathur, a seasoned expert and senior associate advocate from SS Rana & Co., as the resource person. Mr. Mathur shared invaluable insights on identifying innovative ideas, the procedure of IPR filing for educational institutions, and the intricacies of trademarks. This workshop left an indelible impact, benefiting approximately 200 students from various schools within the campus and faculty members.
The workshop began with a warm welcome and introduction by Mr. Dhruv Mathur, whose expertise in the field of intellectual property law is widely acknowledged. His presence infused a sense of anticipation and excitement among the attendees. With the objective of fostering creativity and innovation, the first segment of the workshop focused on "Identifying Innovative Ideas."
