FAREWELL – 2024

The Department of Media bid farewell to the outgoing BA students of J&MC. Filled with curiosity and zeal, the farewell ceremony was organized by the students on May 6th, 2024, in the University Auditorium. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce about joyous moments.

The function commenced with the traditional Guru Pooja ceremony by Mr. Gaurav Thakur Dy. Dean of SOC, in the presence of the faculty of the Department of Media, Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta, Dr. Mithilesh Kumar, Mr. Shivam Yadav, Mr. Arvind Kumar Singh, Mr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, and Mr. Mohan Singh Rawat.

The honourable Director General, (Gp Capt.) Prof. O. P. Sharma, graced the day with his benign presence. The music group recited a soulful prayer, followed by melodious, heart-touching songs. Thereafter, students were greeted with a spate of dance, music, and laughter about their vast repository of skills. 

The students showcased their talents through graceful performances, mesmerizing the audience with their talent. Each presentation reflected the dedication and passion of the students. 

The Hon'ble Director General encouraged graduating students with his words of wisdom. The head of the department, Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta, enlightened the students with his inspirational speech. Dr. Gupta motivated and mentored the students to live a happy and content life ahead. 

All students and staff relished the farewell buffet as the day came to an emotional close. The mementos were presented to all the outgoing students by Mr. Shivam Yadav as a token of blessing. Throughout the event, smiles and laughter filled the air. Faculty members and students cherished the moments shared.

During the programme, Dr. Mithilesh Kumar, Mr. Shivam Yadav, Mr. Arvind Kumar Singh, Mr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, and Mr. Mohan Singh Rawat were also present.
