In his talk he took us through various states of consciousness, namely seven states as explained by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ji. He further apprised that in the body everyone might be awake, but true awakening is when one is awake to one’s self, which is possible with the experience of consciousness, and for getting the experience of consciousness, a technique is required. Just like we need a technique to extract all the richness of minerals and oil from the ground. He explained that Transcendental Meditation was this technique to experience our consciousness and experience what is being awake. His enriching talk about meditation gained the attention of the audience.

This was followed by the discussion session by Ms. Aditi Shrivastava (Advisor, School of Science of Consciousness) and Mr. Ram Shrivastava (Director, Maharishi Ayurveda), moderated by Ms. Kamna Gaur (Transcendental Meditation Teacher).
