BHARAT KI BAAT

The Maharishi School of Media, under its Theatre & Film Club, showcased a Nukkad Natak on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 1:15 p.m., outside the Auditorium and Mess area of MUIT, Noida Campus.

Nukkad Natak, or street theatre, is a form of theatrical performance and presentation in outdoor public spaces without a specific paying audience. These spaces can be anywhere, including shopping centres, car parks, recreational reserves, college or university campuses, and street corners. It gives everyone lessons and beliefs about certain issues. Also, both the actors and audiences in a street play are on the same level, which is not seen in theatre or other performance forms. So it connects you better with society.

The Nukkad Natak began at 1:15 p.m. and lasted 10 minutes. "BHARAT KI BAAT" was the theme of the natak. It created awareness about New India, the G-20 Summit, cleanliness, hygiene, and India as an emerging superpower.
