At Maharishi University, we believe in the overall development of students. So, regular industrial visits are part of the academic structure. Industrial visits bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical learning in a real-life environment.
For this purpose, the Training and Placement cell organized an industrial visit for the students of Maharishi School of Business Studies. Students visited Neocraft Global Private Limited, Plot No. 137, Noida Special Economic Zone, Noida, on February 11, 2023. NEOKRAFT is into the manufacturing of Home Lightings and Home Furnishing Articles for the global market. The company exports its products to 80 countries around the world.
The visit was organized with the objective of giving students an insight into the production and operation processes of NEOKRAFT's home lighting and furnishing articles, from the extraction of raw material to the transportation of finished goods, and educating the students about the connection between the theories taught at the institute and its practical application.
Mr. Mukund Kant Verma, CEO, and Mr. Randhir Batsa, Head-HR, described their product's manufacturing to finished goods, along with their sales, marketing, and technical teams. Students learned the flow of operations and challenges of each department. During the visit, Mr. Mukund Kant Verma (CEO) guided various opportunities in different areas and gave advice to strengthen skills among our students.
After this informative session, students got the opportunity to witness their operational work and interact with their employees, so that they could have a better understanding and practicality of their work.
In total, 23 students were accompanied by two faculty members and one member of the training and placement cell for this visit. It was a successful and knowledgeable industrial visit, as it contributed a lot to holistic student development by letting students learn about the current trends in the market, the future scenario of the industry, and the new technologies that are being applied in the industry.
