Freshers- “Zenith 2023”
The Freshers' Day event, Zenith, held at the Maharishi University Noida campus, was a resounding success on November 9th, 2023. It showcased the vibrant and enthusiastic participation of the incoming students, faculty members, and university staff, setting an exciting tone for their academic journey. The event was graced with the presence of esteemed dignitaries and featured a range of cultural performances, fostering a sense of community and unity.
The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with a significant presence from various members of the university, including incoming students, faculty members, staff, and existing students. The new entrants actively engaged in numerous activities, forging connections with their peers, and immersing themselves in the spirit of community.
The event commenced with a warm welcome note from Dy. Dean Academics Prof. Dr. Smita Mishra, followed by an exhilarating Bhangra performance by the students. The performance set an enthusiastic tone for the event, further igniting the students' spirit and excitement.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. (Group Capt.) O.P. Sharma, Director General, and Prof. Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor of Maharishi University. Their attendance added honor and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of fostering a welcoming environment for new students. The other attendees were Dean Academics Dr. Trapty Agarwal, Dy. Dean Academics Dr. Smita Mishra, Deans, Dy. Deans, faculty, staff, and students of MUIT.
A highlight of the event was the crowning of Mr. and Miss Fresher, adding glamour and excitement to the occasion. Through various rounds and presentations, Tushar Dimri was crowned Mr. Fresher, and Anam Mansoori earned the title of Miss Fresher. Their charisma, talent, and confidence resonated with the audience, making them the proud ambassadors of the incoming batch.Apart from Mr. and Miss Fresher, awards were presented for Best Walk, Best Talent, and Best Costume. Aditya Rajora won the Best Walk Male title, Gayatri won the Best Walk Female title, Ashiyaan Malik and Mahika won Best Costume Male and Female titles, respectively. Harshit Khurana and Khushi won the Best Talent Male and Female titles, respectively. The decisions were made by a jury consisting of Deans and Deputy Deans from all schools after assessing the talents displayed during the event.
The program featured a diverse range of cultural performances, including dance and musical acts. These performances showcased the rich tapestry of talents within the university, emphasizing the cultural diversity that defines Maharishi University.
