Financial Engineering is a multi-disciplinary field that applies theories from various disciplines like Mathematics, Econometrics, Statistics & Probability etc. along with complex tools and techniques of engineering, programming, and numerical analysis to solve problems of investment finance. School of Financial Engineering created in collaboration with Indian Institute of Quantitative Finances is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and world-class faculty, so that students can acquire the skills required to have a rewarding career as a Financial Engineer or Quantitative Finance professional.

Eligibility Criteria


  • Students with Mathematics background in Higher Secondary level (XII)
  • 60% aggregate (or 80% in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics)
  • Qualifying in MUIT-SoFE Entrance Test and Interview

Admission Procedure


Prospective candidates are advised to submit their application online  Alternatively, candidates can visit the Universities Noida Campus to submit their application form.

In both cases, application fees of ₹ 1,200 should be submitted along with application. Payment can be made online, through credit card, debit cards or demand draft, which should be in the name of “Maharishi University of Information Technology” payable at Par.
