Named the “best job of the year” in 2016 by Glassdoor, it offers much more lucrative packages as compared to engineering or CA. With big shots like IBM, Dell, HP, American Express etc. setting up their analytics team in India, a whole new frontier of opportunities are about to open up for skilled analytic professionals.

To develop into a world class industry oriented center of excellence in Data Science training and research by 2020 Our undergraduate programs are envisioned to create a solid quantitative foundation in economics, finance, marketing and other domains where data science plays an important role in solving complex problems. These programs aim to develop highly employable level 1 resources for the data science industry. Our postgraduate programs further aim to develop the latest analytical, technical and vocational skills needed to use data science to guide strategic decisions in different areas of business. These programs will create domain specialists for the data science industry. Our research areas are aimed to understand the evolving complexities in using data science to solve various problems.
